Kathryn, when I looked at this picture I noticed your white leg in the foreground and it made me think of snow. I really hope we have a white Christmas this year! We had a white Elise's birthday today! I can't wait for everyone to get here! I have our first day together all planned out. First we'll make snow angels for two hours, and then we'll go ice skating, and then we'll eat a whole roll of tollhouse cookie dough as fast as we can, and then to finish, we'll snuggle!
Are we going to snuggle on the couch with a comfy blanket, some yummy hot chocolate, and watch a movie? If we do, I think we should watch White Christmas. I have it on DVD.
And since when did you start loving tollhouse cookie dough? That's something I never knew about you
Silly Kimberly! All that stuff about our first day together is from the movie Elf! We are all going to watch it together during Christmas. It is full of Christmas spirit and a grown man dressed like an elf. You will laugh very hard. Mom won't want to watch it and even though it will make her laugh inside, she will hide it and say it wasn't funny. We will also watch White Christmas so everyone is happy.
I like how Ethan said that Mom would laugh inside and then say that it wasn't funny. Hee heee! It is so true! Mom, you have to actually laugh out loud when you think it is funny and not say things like "I didn't think the movie was very humorous, but it's fine if everyone else likes it. Everyone is entitled to like what they want." Join in the fun Mom! Wee ho! -Kate
No fair saying true but not nice things about me when my technically illiterate back is turned. That will teach me not to wait so long before checking the blog so I can defend myself. Ethan, you better make good on that white Christmas promise. Mom
Hee hee! I love our family! I can just imagine Mom watching the movie and all of us laughing, and then asking her if she thought it was funny. Mom- "Well, that didn't seem very funny to me." and yet smiling all the while. *Weese*
Oh Ethan! At my birthday party, one of my friends got me the movie Elf! Sweetness! I was so excited when I opened it. I still haven't watched it though. *Weese*

I've seen Elf already. I remember that some of it was funny, and some of it was marginally funny, and some of it was dumb.

LOL. Mom is funny to. "When my technically illiterate back is turned." That was very clever, I have to say.
