Cafe Nuttall

I tipped this adorable little waitress quite a bit more than the customary 15%. Who wouldn't?
Love her smile!!

Pumpkin Custard
Caribbean Stew
Cafe Nuttall- a quaint cafe rising out of the ever-present misty fog of Logan, was my culinary experience this weekend. I must say this was the most charming evening I have had in a long time.
Talk about a savory delight- never have I experienced such an adventure for the senses!
The first course consisted of a spice and herb laden stew filled with sweet potatoes, onions, kale, zucchini, stewed tomatoes, and enough spices to make your palate want to party!! It was served over a bed of brown rice cooked with just a touch of butter for a better texture.
The second course was Pumpkin Custard- the perfect creamy contrast to the wild, exotic taste of the first course. Baked in chic white ramekins, it was almost too pretty to eat.
The third course, although not pictured here (It was eaten too fast), was just as equally enjoyable as the rest. What can compare to a perfect chocolate brownie? Heaven perhaps? I'll leave the comparing to you- I'm sure you know how perfectly a home-made brownie can complete any dining experience. If not, I suggest Cafe Nuttall for your first experience of brownie bliss. Not only will you fall in love with the food, but the hosts as well. I couldn't help but include some pictures of my personal favorite patron. : )
Thank you Cafe Nuttall for the delicious experience!

By the way- allow me to clarify- this was Elise posting, not Shannon. : ) Shannon- is your middle name Elizabeth? everyone was thinking that S.E. stood for Shannon Elizabeth.
