It snowed today!!!!! Snow in Oregon is always a major event. It took Cory about 2 1/2 hours to get home. Everything shuts down and there are a lot of accidents. People here don't know how to drive in the snow. The news channels are on non stop and they talk endlessly about the conditions and weather updates. We have about 4 1/2 inches and Portland has about 1 1/2 inches. It's crazy that even a small amount of snow sends us into a tailspin. It is so beautiful! By tomorrow evening it will be all gone. :(

Wowee! 4 1/2 inches!! Enjoy it while it lasts. Make a snowman or something and post pictures.

Andrew left work at 3:30 (or somewhere thereabouts) and pulled into our driveway at 10 PM. Of course, that's with a small 2 hour stop at his parents, but I stayed home from work as a result. I wouldn't have made it back to Portland before midnight... I like snow... everywhere but in Oregon! It's a nightmare on the roads.
