Too cold for words!
We went on a hike on Saturday to Opal Pool. It was so beautiful. Elise invited 5 friends to go with us and we had a great time. Round trip was 7.1 miles and I am not in good enough shape for that, but I really enjoyed the day anyway. The water was freeeezing cold. It felt good after the hike to cool our feet and whatever else you were brave enough to put in the water. Dad was the only one crazy....... I mean.... fearless enough to jump from the rocks. We needed you, (Joseph, Ethan, and Chris,) to be adventurous with your Dad. We thought that Opal Creek got it's name because the water is a beautiful opal color. Turns out it was named after someone's wife. Not nearly as exciting.

you guys have been going on some awesome hikes! so many beautiful places in oregon! we need to do some awesome hikes sometime.
Come/move to Oregon and we will take you on awesome hike after awesome hike.

I would call the picture..."I have come, I have conquered" As for the daring airial feets...way to go old man, you sure showed those young pups a thing or two! Bunch of chickens!
Sarah, I like your suggestion. I think I would change it a bit. How about, "I came, I conquered."
