Madame Butterfly

On Friday I went to the opera with some friends, and had a grand old time! We saw Madame Butterfly, which is a tragedy, but the Portland Opera Company performed it very well, and I loved it!!! We got student rush tickets, so it only cost ten dollars!

My hair- I discovered this cool swoopy looking thing that day while I was doing my hair. :)

I had a wonderful time! There were actually 15 of us all together, but I didn't know any of the other people. Also, I would like it to be noted that I learned how to tie a bow tie that night, and Jean's perfectly knotted tie is my handiwork. :) Pretty good for a first time, eh?
