For those of you who don't know- Chris gets great deals everywhere he goes, on everything, always. People just want to give him things, or at least give them to him at a great price. At last, I have a story.
Several months ago I purchased a shelf with hooks, to go in the master bath. It was too long, but I really liked the shelf and wanted to find a place for it somewhere in the house. I finally decided to return it. I didn't have my receipt, but Kohl's has a great return policy and I thought I had used my Kohl's charge card to purchase the shelf. They can look up past receipts using your card. However, I had used Kohl's cash to buy the shelf and there wasn't a record of the purchase. :( :( I was thinking, store credit at the current sale price, which is always lower than what you paid.
To my surprise, the current sale price was about $20 more than I had paid. I told the sales clerk that I was sure that I had not paid that much for the shelf. She said, "I'm sorry, but I can't change the price." :) :) Yeah for me!!!
