One of the dance team members passed away on March 31st and her funeral was yesterday. The family requested that the team perform the Emperor Waltz at the end of the service. Risa loved to dance and we were honored to be asked to be part of the celebration of her life. Alumni from past years gathered for a short practice before the funeral. A video of Risa performing the Emperor Waltz was shown on a large screen and synced with us dancing. Many tears were shed and good memories shared. I know she is still dancing.
