Guest bedroom. Yes, it's purple. That's a queen size bed, by the way, so this is a pretty decent sized room. I don't have a picture of the other bedroom because it's my roommate's, and I didn't think she would appreciate a pic of her not yet organized room on our family blog. Her room is huge - something like 16'x9.5' I believe.
My bedroom. Still not organized, but I'll get it done soon.
Worst bathroom ever. Yes, it's puke green with fleur-de-lis stencils on it, and all of the fixtures are chrome with gold accents. Bleh. It's the master bath, so of course the bedroom was also green with the stencils. Ew. Don't be deceived by how light it is--I took this pic with the flash.
This is really how dark the bathroom is. The light fixture put out about as much light as 3 Christmas lights. I could hardly see to get ready.
View from living room to front door & stairs. Guest bath door is on the left of the front door. One of these walls is not like the others. One of these walls is not the same. The green wall on the stairs is what the walls and ceiling were in the entire downstairs. Soooo disgusting.
My favorite chair. Red leather.
Partially furnished living room. I need to buy more stuff.
Fireplace! Still haven't hung all my pictures--that's why they're just set around the room in random places.
From living room looking to the other side of the living room and into the kitchen.
Kitchen and dining room. How do you like my dining table? It's two card tables pushed together. Hahahaha! Yeah, I'm going to need to get a real table at some point.
Dining room.
Kitchen.
Kitchen.
Guest bath. This wallpaper is textured, and is green, brown, and gold. It's grosser in real life, trust me. It also makes the room feel like a cave--it's soooo dark. Notice the stylish chrome with gold accents, and the worst faucet ever invented. Good luck trying to wash your hands without smashing your fingers against the sink!
And this is what it looks like with no flash. Very dark.
I'm too lazy to try to move this up with the other bedroom pics.
Walk-in closet. Yay!
Here are some "during" pictures. Dad putting the new faucet in. Isn't it lovely? Also, you can fit your hands under it. Miracle!

Now I am really excited to see the after pictures! Your house is really beautiful and I love the wood floors. Your decorations and furniture are AWESOME. You can help me decorate my home someday. :)
Kathryn
it's looking so nice! the color you picked out for your living room is the same color i've been wanting to do my living room! it looks so awesome in your house i'm definitely going to have to do that. i love your red leather chair. i want to sit in it.
I'm happy you like my house! :) Of course I will help you decorate, Kathryn. It takes a lot of time, though. I've found these matching things over a period of 3 1/2 years. You just have to collect things that work as you go along.
Shannon, you should visit me this summer so that you can sit in my chair and read a book. It reclines, by the way, and it's very soft and comfortable.
