Battle Scars

This is what happens when you get smashed into the boards in hockey class. : ) I also got the wind knocked out of me and couldn't breathe for a couple of seconds, which felt like an eternity. My coach stopped the scrimmage because I was laying on the ice having a hard time breathing, and he was like, "Are you okay? Is anything broken? Don't move!" And I was like, "Um... I think I'm okay, I just got the wind knocked out of me." I felt really dumb though because I was just fine and everyone else in my class was like. "Is she okay?? Is she dead?? Is she parylized??" I thought it was funny. : ) Later one of the guys said, "Are you okay?? That was a pretty hard hit!" Apparently it made quite the noise when I hit the boards. But I feel fine now, so no worries. : )
