A True Scot at Heart

Today, the local Fred Meyer had a grand reopening after recent remodeling. As part of the celebration they had a youth pipe band playing. I love to hear the bag pipes and drums. They are part of me, the foundation of who I am. Aunt Andy and Laurel came out to join me. Of course we cried, and Laurel cried watching us. At times like these I really miss my Dad. He was proud to be a Scot. Whenever my Dad gave a toast, he said the same thing. " To us and them that's like us." This same toast I give to all you fellow Scots.
