Joseph's Remodel, Before Pictures

Bathroom sink and cabinet.

This is a Henderson tradition. My Dad always painted a smile on whatever he was painting or building. It's nice to have this live on in my children. Their Grandfather would be proud.

What could be happening here you ask? In the hallway, there was a door stop mounted to the wall. We decided to remove it. This is what we found. The doorknob had created a hole in the wall. The previous owners had tied a string to a piece of wood, slipped it into the hole, pulled it tight, and glued the string to the wall. This gave them something to screw the door stop into. Joseph and I laughed so hard. However, after considering the time, etc. to make a repair, we screwed the doorstop back in place and painted right over it so it would match the wall. The next owners will have a good laugh at us when they decide to fix it.

That doorstop is hilarious! I can't believe they glued the string to the wall.

Very nice pictures, especially the one with Mom & Joseph. I can't wait to see the transformation from a yucky college boy house to something nicer.
