here are a couple things you may not know about maria.
maria loves squeaky cheese!
maria loves to do puzzles! she has about seven puzzles right now. she's really good at doing them!
all done!
maria's favorite color is pink. she loves to sing and dance. she has to put a "dancing dress" on at least once a day. i've made copies of her favorite cd's for her to use in her room and her current favorite is actually a country singer. she has her own account on our computer (a picture of strawberry shortcake is her wallpaper). she knows how to login and go to her favorite games on the internet. yesterday i bought her a pair of pink flip-flops and she's constantly wearing them - even when she sleeps. she's so good in her tumbling class! she's the best one at hand stands (they put their feet high up the wall to do it) and she's so proud that she can finally do a forward roll by herself. when you come to visit at the end of the summer maybe you could go to her class and see all the fun things she does. it's really cool. she loves to play with paper. right now she loves to cut the paper, "write" on it, put a couple stickers on it, fold it up and put it in an envelope. they are usually invitations of some sort, quite often a camp-out. then she slides the envelope under a door to deliver them.
i just asked maria what she likes to do. she smiled and said, "do nothing." that's just like her. always silly. always teasing.

Maria,I love to do puzzles also. When you come to see us we can put them together. One of them has lots of girls tumbling and dancing around. I am making you a new dancing skirt. It is the same color as Elise's dance costume, the hot pink one on the blog. I am so excited for everyone to come visit us. Only 27 days left. Yippee!!!! Mom
I am going to have to teach you lots of fun dance stuff when you come Maria. :) I bet you could do around the world really well.
