a mom's law

you've heard of murphy's law, right? here's a snippet of mom's law:

the day you really scrub the bathroom is the day your toddler doesn't make it to the toilet on time.

Nuttall said...: ...or the day you clean the kitchen, a piece of toast w/jam falls face down, or you pull your favorite white shirt out of the dryer after a wash from its last encounter with ketchup, and somehow chocolate ice cream and cheesy chip residue get on it, etc., etc. I don't believe there can be any person in the world who's patience is more tested than a mom. Hang in there Shannon!
