Hi everyone! The blog has been kind of slow lately so hopefully this helps. We got our chicks today! We took the whole family to IFA to pick them out. Maria was so scared at first that she wouldn't even look at the chicks. I tried to pick her up but she ran away. It didn't take long for her to relax and get used to them though. Now we are constantly telling her to quit poking the chickens. She likes to put some food in her hand and then tells Shannon or I to pick up a chicken and have it eat out of her hand. They usually don't so she will pick up one little granual and try to stick it in the birds beak. I don't think they like it. When she pets the birds, we have to watch carefully because she likes to poke their eyes for some reason. Hudson also likes to look at the chickens. They are very active and I think he likes the movement and the sound. We are very excited to have animals and are looking foreward to 6 fresh eggs every morning! Sorry this post isn't funnier but Huddy Buddy is crying and it is getting late. Love ya all!
